About

The Spanish Student Organization (SSO) represents all individuals interested in learning, improving and practicing the Spanish language. Our vision is to foster a united bond and supportive relationship amongst all Spanish speaking and learning enthusiasts by organizing academic and social events that promote additional learning and community-building outside of the conventional classroom setting. We welcome anyone who is passionate about the Spanish language, music and culture to join the SSO.

    1. Hola Ricky!

Thank you so much for your interest in our club! Its great to see your commitment towards the language and we hope that we can meet your expectations as a club. As for what you specified in your comment, the SSO is all about building community and bringing lovers and learners of Spanish together. We do have academic labs on a bi-weekly basis which provide a relaxed setting for people to practise their Spanish with fluent Spanish speakers and to meet others learning the language. The SSO will also host a variety of events and socials throughout the year. I can add you to our emailing list so that you can be notified about events coming up?

Our next academic lab will be held on October 4th from 3pm-5pm at NF 008 🙂

  4. We encourage U of T undergraduate and graduate students to take advantage of our academic conversation labs. Due to the limited size and number of mentors, we cannot offer our academic events to any individuals who are not affiliated to one of the three U of T affiliated campuses.

That said, our socials are open to all U of T students and their plus ones, regardless of their friends’ non U of T affiliation.
